Candy Bar

Thanks to cousin for letting us experiment something during your wedding. And yes, there is a lot to improve, but above all, we are happy to prepare our simple candy bar for your ceremony.

The last one is decorated pulut kuning (yellow sticky rice) in substitute with normal cake. This fun loving decoration was done by the cousins and aunt.

Hi Dear,

Wherever you are right now, I just want you to know, life, is just a piece of journey. I might share it with you, or I might not.

If our fate intersect and we happened to meet (or meet again), there will be another journey, for us.

Or else, I hope you will be doing fine, living your life the fullest, and accomplished the prophecy meant for you.

As me, will always be me. I might stumble, fall and even lost my consciousness, but as long as there is HIM, the journey will go on.

how could i define,

Why I Read Karim Raslan

With his 3rd anthology in my hand, now I'm ready to share why I read his write-ups.

1. It's fun. You'll find information and wits in an article or short stories.

2. It's simple. He needs only a few pages or half a page column (in paper) to share with us his point of view. For a lazy bump like me, who care less bout details, this is SIMPLY AWESOME.

3. Patriotism. Most of his write ups tell about Malaysia or Asia. The subject matter is very familiar and while he compare with his other half blood, it seems justified. Not too boot licking and yet not too resistance.

4. Superb vocabulary. He is a lawyer and half blood English. What else can I say.

5. Balance. Like point No 3, there is a sense of balance in his articles. I can't help feeling contempt reading his articles.

6. Metaphor. Not only Dr. House M.D knows how to use metaphor (how I wish Dr. House really exist!).

I guess enough for now. I don't think my friends want to know this, but I believe some credit should goes to Mr. Karim Raslan for writing such a cool articles. (His brother, Kam Raslan also write and have same kind of wits in his writing).

Berbuka with Family

It was awesome!!!

Went home last week. Not knowing that my other siblings will be home as well.

The outcome

1. Juicy and tender daging batang pinang yang dipanggang. Minimal marinate brings out the natural taste of the meat. Salutation to Abg Zul for the nicely grilled daging batang pinang.


2. All time favorite caramel pudding. Spek, nanti ko balik sini, baru buat puding ni eh... Nanti jadi nasi lemak lagi. :p Anyway, Kak Long mmg selalu ingat ko kalau buat pudding ni.

3. Erm... Ketam masak lemak... Not actually my fav.


4. And home made karipap. Kentang and daging. Bukan fully kentang or keledek. Hihi... And yes, pada sesiapa yang terhiris, terguris tu... inilah karipap nye.


And also Murtabak pekan, cream puff, laksa putih, pais tempoyak, sayur and lalala... I was freak out tgk seme makanan penuh meja... But, since it always once in the blue moon that we manage to gather all of the siblings, I think it was cool. The smiles on my parents face... LOVELY.

Sinful Saturday

Had a sweet and cozy breakfast at Wondermilk with Charlize Theron. The place is SUPPA KAWAI !!! Basically, the main attraction there is the cutey cupcakes. But, what I like the most is the interior decor (even the alas dulang decorated so well). It is a nice place to hang out and chit chatting (a.k.a gossiping) with gal frens.

Hehe... The strawberry is too yummy for lunch. Please put Cik Siti away from this mouth watering picture. Siti got nothing to do with chocolate strawberry and it just gives the strawberry chocolate a bad name.

And cupcakes for tea...

And menutup majlis all gals hang out with percikan bunga api di Putrajaya... Thanks to Charlize and Jessica for a wonderful sinful Saturday before everything turns upside down on Sunday.

Well, life is like that. One time you are damn satisfy with what you have, and the other day, u wake up realizing you don't have anything.
